The management boards of Komtur Investments Polska Sp. z o.o. with its seat in Warsaw and Komtur Investments Polska 2 Sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw inform that the companies intend to merge.

On March 27, the General Meeting of Members of the Board of the STRATERA MED.Employers’ Union – an organization working for equality of entities in public procurement procedures – was held at our headquarters. During the meeting, Resolutions were adopted on, among other things, the consideration and approval of the Board of the Association’s report on its activities in 2017, or the appointment of members of the Supervisory Board.
In addition to the meeting, a meeting took place, which was a good opportunity to learn about the organization’s activities, providing an opportunity to share experiences with other entrepreneurs. The special guest of the event was Mr. Tomasz Wróblewski- publicist, former editor-in-chief of “Newsweek Polska”, “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”, “Rzeczpospolita” daily and “Wprost” weekly, President of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute. Also delivering their lectures were: Mr. Urban Kielichowski (Stratera Med.) speaking about the Association’s activities for equality of entities within the framework of public procurement proceedings, and Mr. Marcin Nowacki (Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers) touching on the topic of cooperation between Stratera Med. and the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers.

We have already completed the next stage of the construction of Komtur’s new seat. The hypermodern and eco-conscious building will provide 1500 square meters of office space. The three-storey building should address the needs of the constantly growing organisation. The new space is aimed at providing the employees with a comfortable, ecologic and pleasant work environment.

The concept has already taken concrete shape and the glass elevation of the building is already noticeable. The relocation is planned in autumn this year.

Komtur Polska supports the action “Raise Your Hands for Rare Diseases”.

On 28th February 2017, that is on the Rare Disease Day, the employees of Komtur Polska raised their hands, palms out, in order to build and promote awareness in scope of rare disease. This important day on which the voice of the patients is heard all over the world was topped with a conference held in the Warsaw Royal Lazienki Museum, reviewing the events from 2016, most important for rare diseases as well as future plans for the upcoming year. We would like to encourage everybody to join the action being a joint effort of patients, patient organisations and volunteers in order to support and draw attention to the situation of people touched by rare diseases.

It is already the seventh time that the Rare Disease Day is celebrated worldwide on 28th February. Rare diseases affect 6-8% of world human population, whereas in Poland the number of patients is estimated to be more than 2 million people. The patients contend with several problems starting from difficulty to diagnose, through proper treatment and rehabilitation. Therefore, rare diseases constitute a critical social problem and a non-trivial challenge to the health care system. This event is a way to raise awareness about rare diseases, and a right moment to draw attention to the problems affecting patients touched by such illnesses. Traditionally, an opening conference will be held in Łazienki Królewskie, in the Łazienki Palace. The meeting will be attended by the representatives of patients’ organisations, medical specialists, and representatives of national authorities and media. Our company will be present at the event as well.

Since 2016, Komtur has been encouraging its employees to pursue their sports passions, thus contributing to the integration of the staff. Beach volleyball training and fitness classes allow to develop not only physical fitness, but also build cooperation in the group.
Supporting sports initiatives, Komtur Poland became a sponsor of the Project- Sport and Beach Unites Generations, a series of beach volleyball tournaments, which had its grand finale on the penultimate weekend of September in Warsaw’s Wilanów district. The series of tournaments organized by the Beach Volleyball Center attracted many players and fans.
