The aim of the conference was to spread the knowledge about rare diseases as well as to draw attention to the specific needs of people suffering from a chronic condition. The conference was attended by notable Polish and foreign researchers in the area of rare diseases, metabolic disorder specialists, geneticists, neurologists, cardiologists as well as presidents of patients associations in Poland and abroad and experts on the national health service.
